Sara Madderson is a 43-year-old British author who transitioned to writing after diverse careers in banking and fashion.
She spent her twenties as a banker and her thirties raising children while running her fashion brand, Madderson London.
A lifelong reader and writer, she published her first book, the non-fiction Metamorphosis, in February 2020.
She then discovered romance writing during lockdown and has since independently published several novels.
Madderson values the creative freedom of self-publishing and draws inspiration from classic heroines like Sara Crewe and Anne Shirley.
She currently resides in London.
