Marianne Curley discovered her passion for writing in her mid-thirties while teaching office studies and computers at Coffs Harbour Education Campus.
With two teenage daughters, she naturally gravitated toward young adult paranormal fiction.
Her first four novels, including Old Magic, were published by Bloomsbury in Australia, UK, and USA, translated into over a dozen languages.
In 2004, she was diagnosed with aggressive Myelofibrosis and received a life-saving stem-cell transplant from her sister.
Cancer-free for over twenty years, she has written ten books total, including the Avena Series and Guardians of Time Series.
