Michael Scott is a British classical scholar and ancient historian born in 1981, currently serving as Professor of Classics and Ancient History at the University of Warwick.
He became Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) at Warwick in 2023 and co-directs the Warwick Institute of Engagement.
Scott has received numerous accolades including National Teaching Fellow (2017), the Classical Association Prize (2021) for raising the profile of Classics publicly, and the title International Lego Classicist of the Year (2022).
He is also president of the Lytham Saint Annes Classical Association branch and a well-known presenter of ancient history programs on BBC.
