Natasha Boyd (also writing romance as Tasha Boyd) is a USA Today bestselling and award-winning author specializing in historical fiction and contemporary romance.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and lives with her husband and two sons.
The Indigo Girl, her historical fiction novel about Eliza Lucas Pinckney, was long-listed for the Southern Book Prize and selected as a Southern Independent Booksellers' Association OKRA PICK. Boyd was inspired to write the novel after overhearing a conversation at an indigo exhibit in South Carolina about the remarkable teenage girl who revolutionized the region's agricultural economy.
She extensively researched historical documents and Eliza's actual letters to craft her narrative.
