A.K. Turner, also known as Anya Lipska, is a British author specializing in crime fiction with unique protagonists and settings.
Her latest series features Cassie Raven, a Goth mortuary technician who communicates with the dead, first introduced in BBC Radio 4 crime shorts.
Turner's previous series, written under her pen name, starred a Polish fixer in London.
She was selected for Val McDermid's New Blood Panel at Harrogate Crime Festival in 2012.
Turner resides in East London, balancing her writing with a career producing TV documentaries on true crime and science.
