He has garnered critical acclaim for his novels, with four of them winning the August Derleth Award for Best Horror Novel.
His short story collection "Some Will Not Sleep" won the British Fantasy Award.
Nevill's work has been adapted for the screen, with "The Ritual" and "No One Gets Out Alive" becoming feature films.
