Ana Lena Rivera was born in Oviedo in May 1972 and currently lives in Madrid.
After earning degrees in Law and Business Administration from ICADE, she worked in business before pursuing her passion for writing.
She began with a noir trilogy featuring fraud investigator Gracia San Sebastián, starting with the Premio Torrente Ballester-winning Lo que callan los muertos (2019).
She then shifted focus to recovering the voices of silenced twentieth-century women through contemporary historical novels including Las herederas de la Singer (2022), La niña del sombrero azul (2024), and La casa de huéspedes (2025).
Her books have reached over 250,000 readers across Spain and Latin America, with translations into French and Italian.
