Angie Sage
Angie Sage is a British author born in 1952, best known for her Septimus Heap series.
She grew up in Thames Valley, London, and Kent, with a father in publishing who encouraged her creativity.
Initially studying medicine, Sage switched to art school, focusing on graphic design and illustration.
She began her career illustrating children's books before transitioning to writing.
Magyk, the first novel in the Septimus Heap series, launched her career as a novelist.
Sage has also written the Todhunter Moon series and various children's books.
