Anissa Gray is an award-winning journalist turned novelist.
Born and raised in western Michigan, she graduated from Western Michigan University and earned a Masters in English from NYU. Gray worked as a print reporter for Reuters in Manhattan before moving to Atlanta to pursue a career in broadcast journalism at CNN. There, she received Emmy and duPont awards for her contributions to major news coverage.
After more than two decades in journalism, Gray transitioned to fiction writing, drawing on her storytelling experience to craft her debut novel.
