Antoinette van Heugten is a former international trial lawyer turned author.
Her debut novel, Saving Max, became a USA Today bestseller and was inspired by her experience as a mother of two autistic children.
Van Heugten's second novel, The Tulip Eaters, explores family secrets and World War II history.
She graduated from the University of Texas with law and undergraduate degrees.
When not writing, van Heugten enjoys hiking, gardening, and traveling.
She lives in Fredericksburg, Texas, with her husband and is currently working on a sequel to Saving Max titled Finding Marianne.
