Azadeh Moaveni is an accomplished journalist and author with extensive experience covering the Middle East.
Born to Iranian expatriates in California, she later worked as a reporter in Tehran for Time magazine.
Moaveni has written multiple books on Iran, including Lipstick Jihad and Iran Awakening, co-authored with Nobel laureate Shirin Ebadi.
Her work has appeared in prestigious publications such as The Guardian, The New York Times, and The London Review of Books.
Currently based in London, Moaveni teaches journalism at New York University and works on gender and conflict issues for the International Crisis Group.
