Forta has authored numerous technical books on subjects including SQL, ColdFusion, and Regular Expressions, many of which have been translated into multiple languages.
He has contributed to official training materials and certification tests for Adobe.
Prior to his current role, Forta worked for Macromedia and Allaire Corporation, and founded the website Car.com.
Born in London, he now resides in Michigan with his family.
