Carlos M.N. Eire
Carlos M.N. Eire, also known simply as Carlos Eire, is a distinguished scholar specializing in the social, intellectual, religious, and cultural history of late medieval and early modern Europe.
He holds the prestigious T. Lawrason Riggs Professorship in History and Religious Studies at Yale University.
After earning his PhD from Yale in 1979, he taught at St. John's University in Minnesota and the University of Virginia before returning to Yale in 1996.
