Chencia C. Higgins is a Texas-based author dedicated to creating stories featuring sassy, southern Black women being loved openly.
Her debut novel for Carina Adores, D'Vaughn and Kris Plan a Wedding, was recognized as a New York Times best romance of 2022.
When not writing, Higgins enjoys reading, saving Pinterest recipes she may never make, and daydreaming about warmer climates.
Her mission is to bring diverse representation to romance literature, focusing on Black women's experiences and love stories set in the American South.
