Christelle Dabos is a French author born in 1980 on the Riviera.
Growing up in a home filled with classical music and historical puzzles, she began writing as a creative outlet.
Initially pursuing a career as a librarian, Dabos turned to writing as a form of escape and reconstruction during a period of illness.
Encouraged by an online writing community, she entered and won a youth novel contest.
This success led to the creation of her acclaimed four-book series "La Passe-Miroir" (The Mirror Visitor), which includes A Winter's Promise.
Dabos's imaginative storytelling and complex world-building have garnered her international recognition in the fantasy genre.
