Anthony Malcolm Daniels, known by the pen name Theodore Dalrymple, is an English writer and retired prison doctor and psychiatrist.
He worked in Sub-Saharan Africa and inner-city Birmingham before retiring in 2005.
Daniels is a contributing editor to City Journal and has written for various publications including The British Medical Journal, The Times, and National Review.
He received the 2011 Freedom Prize from the Flemish think tank Libera!
