David Baldacci
David Baldacci is a bestselling American author known for his thriller novels.
Born in Virginia, he began writing as a child and published his first novel, Absolute Power, in 1996.
Baldacci has since written 50 novels for adults and seven for younger readers, with 150 million copies sold worldwide in over 45 languages.
His books have been adapted for film and television.
Baldacci is also a philanthropist, co-founding the Wish You Well Foundation with his wife to support family and adult literacy programs in the United States.
He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Virginia School of Law.
