Diana Preston
Diana Preston was born and raised in London and studied Modern History at Oxford University.
She began as a freelance journalist, writing for national UK newspapers and magazines, and has reviewed books for publications including The Wall Street Journal and The Los Angeles Times.
A broadcaster for the BBC and Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, she has also appeared in television documentaries.
Preston writes popular history, drawn to compelling stories that illuminate the human experience.
Her books include works on Bonnie Prince Charlie, Robert Falcon Scott, the Boxer Rebellion, and the Lusitania.
She lives in London with her husband, Michael.
