Ellie Phillips
Ellie Phillips is a dentist educated at King's College London and the University of Rochester who founded Zellies in 2002 to develop and market xylitol oral care products.
She published the first edition of Kiss Your Dentist Goodbye in 2002 (republished 2010), followed by a completely rewritten second edition in January 2025 incorporating twenty years of new scientific knowledge.
Phillips advocates for preventative dental care through her "Complete Mouth Care System" using over-the-counter products and xylitol, challenging conventional dentistry's focus on treating rather than preventing dental problems.
