Emilia Hart is a British-Australian author who made her debut with the novel Weyward.
Born in Sydney, she studied English Literature and Law at the University of New South Wales before working as a lawyer in Sydney and London.
Hart honed her writing skills through Curtis Brown Creative's Three Month Online Novel Writing Course and received recognition in the 2021 Caledonia Novel Award.
Her short fiction has been published in both Australia and the UK. Currently residing in London, Hart's background in law and literature informs her writing, which explores themes of female empowerment and historical injustice.
