Emma Healey is a British author born in London.
She studied bookbinding and worked in libraries, bookshops, art galleries, and universities before earning an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia.
Her debut novel, Elizabeth is Missing, was published in 2014 to critical acclaim, becoming a bestseller and winning the Costa First Novel Award.
Healey's second novel, Whistle in the Dark, was released in 2018.
She currently resides in Norwich with her family and cat.
