Francisco Goldman
Francisco Goldman is an American novelist and journalist with Guatemalan heritage.
Born in Boston to a Guatemalan mother and Jewish-American father, Goldman has achieved critical acclaim for his fiction and non-fiction works.
His novels have been finalists for prestigious awards like the PEN/Faulkner and Los Angeles Times Book Prize.
Goldman's background and experiences inform his writing, which often explores themes related to Latin America.
He is also involved in journalism education, serving as a 'maestro' at the Fundación Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano, a journalism school founded by Gabriel García Márquez.
Goldman divides his time between Mexico City and Brooklyn, and teaches at Trinity College in Connecticut.
