Gege Akutami
Gege Akutami is the Japanese manga author behind the popular series Jujutsu Kaisen.
Known for maintaining a private persona, Akutami's gender and face remain undisclosed to the public.
Before achieving success with Jujutsu Kaisen, Akutami worked as an assistant to mangaka Yasuhiro Kanō.
Their career began in 2014 with the debut work "Kamishiro Sōsa" in Shōnen Jump NEXT!!
Akutami continued to create one-shots and short series, including "No.9" and "Nikai Bongai Barabarujura," before launching Jujutsu Kaisen in Weekly Shōnen Jump in 2018.
The author's distinctive style and storytelling have garnered a significant following in the manga industry.
