Georgia Hunter is an author whose debut novel, We Were the Lucky Ones, was inspired by her family's remarkable survival during the Holocaust.
After learning about her grandfather's wartime experiences at a family reunion, Hunter spent a decade researching and writing the book.
It has since been translated into over 20 languages and adapted for television by Hulu.
Hunter's second novel, One Good Thing, set in Holocaust-era Italy, is scheduled for release in March 2025.
When not writing or giving talks, she resides in Rowayton, Connecticut with her family and dog, often traveling for new adventures and inspiration.
