Henry Lincoln, born Henry Soskin in 1930, was an English author, television presenter, scriptwriter, and former actor.
He co-wrote Doctor Who serials in the 1960s and later authored books and documentaries about the mysteries of Rennes-le-Château for BBC Two.
Lincoln's work on this subject led to a series of lectures and the co-authorship of the controversial book "The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail" in 1982.
This pseudohistorical work became the inspiration for Dan Brown's bestseller "The Da Vinci Code" in 2003.
Lincoln's exploration of alleged mysteries surrounding Rennes-le-Château significantly influenced popular culture and sparked widespread interest in alternative historical theories.
