Jackson Katz
Jackson Katz is a leading American anti-sexist male activist, educator, author, filmmaker, and cultural theorist internationally recognized for gender violence prevention education and critical media literacy.
He co-founded the Mentors In Violence Prevention (MVP) program, now prominent in professional and college athletics, and directed the first domestic and sexual violence prevention program in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Katz created influential educational videos including "Tough Guise: Violence, Media, and the Crisis in Masculinity." He has lectured at hundreds of campuses and conducted professional trainings across the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, and Japan, advocating for men's active participation in ending violence against women.
