Jason Pargin is a New York Times bestselling author formerly known by the pseudonym David Wong.
His debut novel, John Dies at the End, was adapted into a 2012 film and spawned a popular series known for its dark humor and paranormal elements.

From 2007 to 2020, Pargin served as Executive Editor at Cracked.com, where he wrote viral essays and listicles examining modern culture and technology.
