Jorge Bucay is an Argentinian gestalt psychotherapist, psychodramatist, and writer.
Born into a modest family, he began working at 13 and held various jobs before graduating as a doctor from the University of Buenos Aires in 1973.
Bucay specializes in mental illnesses and considers himself a "professional helper." His books have sold over 2 million copies worldwide and have been translated into more than 17 languages.
Bucay divides his time between conducting therapeutic teaching conferences globally and writing books, which he views as therapeutic tools.
