Joris Luyendijk
Joris Luyendijk is a Dutch journalist and author born in 1971.
He studied in the US and Amsterdam, focusing on Arabic and religious anthropology.
His career includes work as a Middle East correspondent for Dutch media outlets.
Luyendijk has written several books, including "Een goede man slaat soms zijn vrouw" and "Het zijn net mensen." In 2010, he wrote about Dutch politics in "Je hebt het niet van mij, maar..." Since then, he has been working for The Guardian in London, writing an anthropological blog about the financial world.
