Joshua S. Goldstein is an accomplished International Relations professor and author.
He has written six books on war, peace, diplomacy, and economic history, including a popular college textbook titled "International Relations." His book "War and Gender" (2001) received the International Studies Association's "Book of the Decade Award" in 2010.
Goldstein holds a B.A. from Stanford and a Ph.D. from M.I.T. He is currently professor emeritus at American University in Washington, DC, and a research scholar at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
