Kenneth Bae
Kenneth Bae is a Korean-American missionary who gained international attention after being imprisoned in North Korea for two years.
Born in South Korea and raised in the US, Bae became a Christian pastor and led tour groups into North Korea, secretly conducting missionary work.
In 2012, he was arrested and sentenced to 15 years of hard labor for alleged anti-government activities.
His imprisonment became a diplomatic issue between the US and North Korea.
After his release in 2014, Bae wrote "Not Forgotten" to share his experiences and faith journey.
He continues to advocate for religious freedom and human rights in North Korea.
