Kenneth Pomeranz
Kenneth Pomeranz is a distinguished historian and University Professor at the University of Chicago.
Born in 1958, he earned his B.A. from Cornell University and Ph.D. from Yale University under Jonathan Spence's guidance.
Pomeranz taught at UC Irvine for over two decades before joining the University of Chicago.
His academic achievements include being elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences in 2006 and serving as president of the American Historical Association in 2013-14.
