Kwame Alexander
Kwame Alexander is an award-winning author, poet, and educator known for his innovative approach to children's and young adult literature.
His book The Crossover won the 2015 Newbery Medal and several other prestigious awards.
Alexander has written 21 books across various age groups and genres, including novels in verse, picture books, and YA fiction.
He actively promotes literacy and poetry through speaking engagements, international travels, and his PAGE TO STAGE Writing and Publishing Program.
Alexander co-founded LEAP for Ghana, an international literacy program that built a library and provided professional development for teachers in Ghana.
