Max Gunther was an Anglo-American journalist and author who wrote 26 books, including the investment bestseller "The Zurich Axioms." Born in England, he moved to the United States at age 11 when his father became a bank manager in New York.
Gunther graduated from Princeton University in 1949 and served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1951.
He worked for Business Week magazine and was a contributing editor for Time Magazine.
Gunther also wrote for various popular publications, including Playboy, True, Reader's Digest, TV Guide, McCall's, and Saturday Evening Post, establishing himself as a versatile and prolific writer across different genres and topics.
