Morgan Matson
Morgan Matson is an American author known for her young adult contemporary novels.
She grew up in New York City and Greenwich, Connecticut, and studied theater at Occidental College.
After working in a bookstore, she fell in love with YA literature and pursued an M.F.A. in Writing for Children at the New School.
Matson's debut novel, Amy & Roger's Epic Detour, was published in 2010 and received critical acclaim.
She later earned an M.F.A. in Screenwriting from USC. Matson's books often feature themes of romance, friendship, and personal growth, drawing inspiration from her own experiences.
She currently resides in Los Angeles and continues to write popular YA novels.
