Nancy Richler was a Canadian novelist born in Montreal in 1957.
She spent much of her adult life in Vancouver before returning to Montreal in the early 2010s.
Richler's literary career began with her first novel, Throwaway Angels, published in 1996 and shortlisted for an Arthur Ellis Award.
Her subsequent works gained critical acclaim, with Your Mouth Is Lovely winning the 2003 Canadian Jewish Book Award for Fiction and the 2004 Adei Wizo Award.
