Pim van Lommel
Pim van Lommel, M.D. is a Dutch cardiologist born in 1943 who specialized in near-death experience research.
He graduated from the University of Utrecht in 1971 and worked as a cardiologist until 2003.
Van Lommel has published numerous articles on NDEs and authored the bestselling book "Endless Consciousness" in Dutch, which was later translated into English as "Consciousness Beyond Life." His work focuses on the mind-brain relationship and the science behind near-death experiences.
Van Lommel's research has gained significant attention, with his book selling over 100,000 copies in its first year and being nominated for Book of the Year in 2008.
