Saifedean Ammous
Saifedean Ammous is an economist and author known for his work on Bitcoin and Austrian economics.
He wrote the internationally bestselling book "The Bitcoin Standard" in 2018, followed by "The Fiat Standard" in 2021 and "Principles of Economics" in 2023.
Ammous teaches economics courses online and hosts a podcast.
He previously worked as a professor at the Lebanese American University from 2009 to 2019.
Ammous holds a PhD in Sustainable Development from Columbia University, a Masters in Development Management from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
