Sena Jeter Naslund is a New York Times bestselling novelist and distinguished academic based in Louisville, Kentucky.
She has authored five novels, with Ahab's Wife (1999) and Abundance: A Novel of Marie Antoinette (2006) among her most notable works.
Currently serving as Distinguished Teaching Professor and Writer in Residence at the University of Louisville, she also directs the Spalding University Master of Fine Arts in Writing program.
