Tanya Katerí Hernández is the Archibald R. Murray Professor of Law at Fordham University, teaching anti-discrimination law and critical race theory.
She earned her A.B. from Brown University and J.D. from Yale Law School.
An internationally recognized comparative race law expert and Fulbright Scholar, she has held positions at Princeton, Rutgers, and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.
Named one of Hispanic Business Magazine's 100 Most Influential Hispanics in 2007, she is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and American Law Institute.
Her scholarship on comparative race relations has appeared in leading law reviews and publications.
