Tayari Jones is an accomplished novelist and educator.
She has authored four novels, including the critically acclaimed "An American Marriage." Jones' writing has appeared in various prestigious publications, and she has received numerous awards and fellowships for her work.
A graduate of Spelman College, University of Iowa, and Arizona State University, Jones currently serves as an Associate Professor in the MFA program at Rutgers-Newark University.
Her novel "Silver Sparrow" was selected for the NEA's Big Read Library in 2016.
Jones' work often explores themes of race, relationships, and the American South.
