Thom Hartmann
Thomas Carl Hartmann is an American radio personality, author, businessman, and progressive political commentator born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1951.
He majored in electrical engineering at Michigan State University while actively participating in anti-Vietnam War movements.
Hartmann built his first successful business during college and went on to establish several more companies throughout his career.
He published his first book in 1992 and has since authored dozens of titles.
Since 2003, he has hosted the nationally syndicated radio show The Thom Hartmann Program and hosted The Big Picture television show from 2010-2017.
He has three children with his wife Louise.
