Thomas M. Nichols
Thomas M. Nichols is a professor of National Security Affairs at the U.S. Naval War College and an adjunct professor at Harvard Extension School.
He has taught at several prestigious institutions, including Dartmouth College and Georgetown University, where he earned his PhD. Nichols is affiliated with various academic and policy organizations, such as the Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Affairs and the International History Institute at Boston University.
His career includes experience in government consulting and research analysis for private industry.
Nichols also served on the personal staff for foreign and defense affairs to the late U.S. Senator John Heinz of Pennsylvania.
