Watchman Nee
Watchman Nee was a Chinese Christian author and church leader in the early 20th century.
Born in 1903, he experienced a religious revival at 17 and began his ministry in 1922.
Nee founded The Church Assembly Hall and traveled throughout China planting churches and holding conferences.
Despite no formal theological education, he gained knowledge through Bible study and Christian literature.
Nee's ministry lasted 30 years until his imprisonment in 1952 for his faith.
He remained in prison until his death in 1972, leaving behind a legacy of influential Christian writings and teachings that continue to impact believers worldwide.
