Charles Freeman
Charles Freeman is a freelance academic historian specializing in European cultural history and thought, with particular expertise in the ancient Mediterranean world.
He is the author of numerous acclaimed works, including Egypt, Greece and Rome: Civilizations of the Ancient Mediterranean, The Greek Achievement, The Legacy of Ancient Egypt, and The Closing of the Western Mind, which examines the relationship between Greek philosophy and early Christianity.
