John Ajvide Lindqvist
John Erik Ajvide Lindqvist is a Swedish author known for his novel "Let the Right One In." Growing up in Blackeberg, which later became the setting for his bestselling book, Lindqvist initially pursued a career as a conjurer and then spent twelve years as a stand-up comedian.
He has also written for Swedish television.
Lindqvist's works include "Handling the Undead," "Harbor," and "I Am Behind You." His novel "Let the Right One In" achieved bestseller status in Sweden and received recognition in Norway as the Best Novel in Translation in 2005.
