John J. Robinson was an American author and historian best known for Born in Blood: The Lost Secrets of Freemasonry.
Originally planning to write about the Peasants' Revolt of 1381, his research led him to connect the Knights Templar's dissolution to Freemasonry's origins.
This work sparked his deeper interest in Freemasonry, resulting in A Pilgrim's Path: Freemasonry and the Religious Right.
Robinson served as founding visionary of the Masonic Information Center under the Masonic Service Association of North America.
He held memberships in prestigious organizations including the Medieval Academy of America, The Organization of American Historians, and the Royal Over-Seas League of London.
