Octavia Grant
Octavia Grant discovered her passion for creative writing in 2002 during high school in Georgetown, South Carolina.
She began writing professionally in 2016 and became an independent author two years later.
A bestselling Black thriller author with more than 30 novels, her work is known for psychological depth and gripping suspense.
She has spoken at ESSENCE Fest and the National Book Club Conference, and been featured in numerous publications.
Her accolades include the Black Girls Who Write It's Lit Award, the AAMBC Award for Mystery/Thriller Book of the Year, and recognition as Best Thriller/Suspense Horror Author by the Literary Gem Awards.
