Peter H. Wilson
Peter Hamish Wilson is a distinguished British historian specializing in early modern European history, particularly German and Holy Roman Empire history.
His extensive bibliography includes works such as War, State and Society in Württemberg, German Armies: War and German Society, and The Holy Roman Empire, 1495–1806.
Previously a Professor of History at the University of Hull, Wilson has since risen to one of academia's most prestigious positions, holding the Chichele Professor of the History of War chair at All Souls College, University of Oxford, since 2015, cementing his reputation as a leading authority in his field.
