Lorraine Heath was born in Watford, England to a British mother and Texan father, later moving to Texas.
She earned a BA in psychology from the University of Texas, which helps her create believable characters.
After writing training manuals for the IRS, she discovered romance novels and found her calling writing about rebels and rogues.
She's authored over 60 novels across historical and contemporary romance for adults and teens.
Her work has earned numerous awards including RWA's RITA® and appeared on USA TODAY and New York Times bestseller lists.
She also writes young adult fiction under pseudonyms Rachel Hawthorne, Jade Parker, and J.A. London.
